I knew from a very early age that I wanted to be a vet. I was so sure, in fact, that I would spend my holidays at a vet clinic run by some of my dad’s friends. The more I learned about the profession, the more passionate I became.
Spending every day observing the bond, the love and the commitment between owners and their four-legged friends is what gives me the greatest pleasure. So if I can contribute in any way to maintaining this healthy union, whether by promoting animal welfare or helping owners understand their pets better, that’s enough to make me happy.
I feel fulfilled because I definitely enjoy my job.
I started my course in vet medicine in Vila Real de Trás os Montes in 1992 and it was one of the happiest days of my life. In 2003, I founded the 115 Animal Veterinary Clinic.  Since then I have done a lot of additional training and post-graduate courses because, as you know, medicine is constantly evolving and we need to ensure we are always up-to-date.
My main areas of interest are surgery, orthopaedics, dermatology and medical imaging. 
I feel fulfilled because I definitely enjoy my job.
