Veterinary auxiliary
Learning about the peculiarities of each species on a daily basis makes me fall even more in love with what I do. This job isn’t only about taking care of our pets, but mainly about the relationships we build with their owners; over time, I’ve come to realise that this is a fundamental process for the well-being of the entire family.

Being part of this great team has taught me everything I know today; I plan on staying at 115 Animal for a long time and progressing alongside my colleagues.

I’ve never actually had that many pets, but the way I see it, liking fauna is about protecting every species as much as possible and, above all, respecting them. It’s not having them in great numbers that determines how passionate you are about them. I identify very strongly with this field, and so I plan on using the skills I’m learning to build up my career path into the field.

I was in high school from 2016 to 2020, where I took the vocational course in Child Services.

I finished my veterinary auxiliary course at SA Formação in 2021 and started working immediately after that.

I volunteered at an Exotic Animal Veterinary Clinic for two weeks.

I’m an active member of the Foz do Êta Association, which cleans the Ria Formosa lagoon, organises small walks to explore the region’s fauna and flora, and runs a few workshops about various topics, which are usually related to nature.
